DeleteApp ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Google Business review removal and management services, and outlines your rights under relevant data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

  • Business data (business name, Google Place ID, address, industry)
  • Payment data (billing details; payments processed by Stripe)
  • Review management data (Google review content, reviewer profiles, business profile data)
  • Communications (messages, tickets, correspondence)

2.2. Data Collected Automatically:

  • Technical data (IP address, browser, device, OS)
  • Usage and log data (pages visited, features used, time spent, error and diagnostic reports)
  • Cookies and tracking (session data, preferences)

2.3. Data from Third Parties:

  • Google Business Profile information
  • Payment confirmation/status from Stripe
  • Analytics services (aggregated usage)

3. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR Art. 6)

We only process your personal data if permitted by law, including, but not limited to, the following legal bases:

Despite these measures, complete security cannot be guaranteed. We will notify you and relevant authorities of significant data breaches as required by law.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, comply with obligations, settle disputes, enforce agreements, and as required by law.

  • Account data: While your account is active plus reasonable period post-closure
  • Transaction data: For at least 7 years (legal/tax)
  • Communications: As needed for support or legal requirements
  • Logs: Typically 90 days unless needed longer

Data will be deleted or anonymized when no longer required.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (EU/EEA/Switzerland/Germany/California), you have the following rights:

DeleteApp's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We may update this policy; material changes will be communicated by email or prominent notice. Where required, we will seek renewed consent. The effective date is indicated above.
